1. Microsoft’s AI-Powered Chatbot Failing to Gain Search Market Share

Microsoft's AI-powered chatbot has not been successful in gaining search market share. Bing, Microsoft's search engine, had a 3% share of the search market in January 2023, a month before the launch of the AI-powered chatbot. In July 2023, Bing's market share was still 3%. This suggests that the AI-powered chatbot has not had a significant impact on Bing's search traffic.

Teachers are increasingly using AI tools in the classroom, but adoption is still slow. Nearly 4 in 10 teachers expect to use AI in their classrooms by the end of the 2023-24 school year. Less than half as many say they are prepared to use the tools. The most popular AI tools for teachers are chatbots and virtual assistants.
